As of September the 20th 2021 trailer tests will no longer be getting carried out around the UK. There are mixed emotions about these changes, some thinking it is for the better and some fearing the worst! You will no longer require a test to be able to pull a horse trailer (up to 3500KG MAM).

Here we have lined up some information in some recently published articles so you can find all that you need to know about the new changes:

-New changes will come into effect in the autumn, keep an eye on the DVLA website here.

-Riders no longer have to have a test to tow their horse around- Your Horse

-How to ensure you remain safe whilst towing- Government advice.

-Equestrians are warned not to get caught out ahead of rule change- Horse and Hound.

We hope you find these articles useful. Drive safe to all you new towers out there!
